Victor Mine Midland April 2011 The Victor Mine is a huge underground and open pit gypsum mine. It was also used as a Civil Defense shelter for the city of Blythe in the 1960's. Everything about this mine is massive and it's an impressive sight to behold. The Victor Mine has been sealed by U.S. Gypsum. We used a small opening but it's eroding and will soon be lost. |
